Role overview

Chartered Wealth Solutions is seeking an experienced Associate Financial Planner to join its Cape Town office.

The role suits a confident, mature planner with three or more years’ experience who is ready to manage client relationships directly and deliver high-quality advice.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and lead client meetings.
• Build and manage client relationships.
• Compile financial plans and recommendations.
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS and Fit and Proper requirements.

Minimum requirements

• Three or more years’ financial planning experience.
• BCom degree.
• RE5 qualification.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

Preferred qualifications

• CFP® designation preferred, or in progress.

Skills and competencies

• Client relationship management and meeting leadership.
• Financial analysis, modelling and plan compilation.
• Regulatory discipline across FAIS and Fit and Proper obligations.
