Senior Financial Services Administrator

Role overview

The client is an established financial-services practice seeking a Senior Financial Services Administrator to provide senior administrative support to a panel of approximately ten Financial Advisers.

The position calls for a dependable, experienced administrator who understands the administrative demands of a busy financial-advisory practice: managing several advisers’ requirements at once, maintaining accurate client and business administration, and delivering support that is consistently accurate, professional and efficient.

Minimum requirements

• At least five years’ experience as an administrator supporting Financial Advisers.
• At least one year of Discovery experience.
• Previous experience within the financial-services or financial-advisory sector.
• Experience supporting multiple Financial Advisers.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and adviser requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Own reliable vehicle.

Discovery experience

Discovery experience is a non-negotiable requirement for this appointment. Candidates must have at least one year of previous Discovery experience; applicants without it may not be considered.

Remuneration

R18,000 – R25,000 per month, plus an incentive structure. Final remuneration depends on relevant financial-services experience, Discovery exposure, seniority and overall suitability for the position.
